Outreach ministry
The Outreach Ministry for New Dover reflects our mission activities in our community and in the world. Mission activities allow New Dover to help our neighbors where our efforts can be most effective. These efforts include partnering with other local churches to expand the exposure for these worthwhile efforts. Mission activities include:

Christian Outreach Project
New Dover participates in COP which sends youth volunteers and adult mentors to work with disadvantaged neighbors to help repair and improve their housing situation. This one week per year effort sends teams to different areas of New Jersey to help those who are most in need. This years work will be done during the last week of June.
Dominican Republic
New Dover participates with sending volunteers, both youth and adults to the Dominican Republic. During these twice-yearly visits, provides help to our Dominican neighbors to build houses and deliver clothes and household items that are collected during the year.
Pedals for Progress
Once per year New Dover initiates collecting from the community used bicycles and sewing machines. Each is of great need in countries around the world allowing people who receive them to make a living. These used machines are repaired and then shipped to areas in the world where they can be best utilized.
Social justice
New Dover partners with First Friends to work with the immigrant community by providing education and assists where possible.
